Code p0401 Toyota First part to replace of the 3 possibilities is

VSV under the intake manifold. It's the most expensive when you include labor. Hang it. The bolt will be locked to the engine block. The other 2 parts ERG on top can be cleaned and the valve next to it can be replaced with out tools. They repaired my 1998 Camry so the check engine light went off for the first time in a year. I brought the part and was only charged labor. The mechanic didn't think it would work but, it did!                                                                  This part should be redesigned to be a hanging one.                                                                                                The bolt is "heat wielded" and in a poor place, only increasing labor.
